Celebrate Asian and Pacific Island American Heritage Month 2012 at Los Angeles

Presented by the Asian and Pacific Island American Heritage Month Planning Committee

Join us in observing Asian and Pacific Island American Heritage Month at the Los Angeles City Hall South Plaza. This community celebration will focus on Asian and Pacific Islander cultures as well as our contemporary Asian American culture!

The opening will take place on Friday April 27, 2012. City Council Ceremony will start at 10:00a and will be proceeded by a celebration outdoors with a wide variety of wonderful food and great entertainment. Entertainment includes Taiko Drummers, Lion Dancers, Tahitian Dancers, Myanmar/Burmese Traditional Dancing, Bollywood Dancing and much, much more.

This event is FREE and OPEN to the public and we encourage all to attend.
