Myanmar (Burmese) New Film “Adam, Eve and Datsa”, and a documentary “The Floating Tomatoes” are coming to Los Angeles Independent Theater

October 10, 2011 0

The two–day festival will be held at Downtown Independent Theater (www.downtownindependent.com), a state-of-the-art facility located in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. It is the chance for everyone to see Myanmar (Burmese) movie on the big screen before its DVD is released to general public.

The Annual Myanmar Film Festival (Los Angles) is a fine example of community-based exhibition. While the Myanmar (Burmese) American Film Festival, now in its fourth year, is marked by steady success, although it’s not a player yet in the cinema circuit in South East Asian communities in the United States. But that’s okay. The intense seems to be sparking local dialogue; and with it, the Festival excels.
