Diversity Visa (DV) Program – DV 2014 Program
Each year, the United States Congress allocates 50,000 immigrant visas in the Diversity Visa (DV) category. Foreign nationals who are native of countries determined by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) are eligible to apply each year. For fiscal year 2014, the application period was from October 2, 2012, through November 3, 2012.
Online registration for the DV-2014 Program started on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at 12:00 noon, Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) (GMT-4), and concludes on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 12:00 noon, Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) (GMT-4).
Applicants may access the electronic DV Entry Form (E-DV) at www.dvlottery.state.gov during the registration period. Paper entries will not be accepted. We strongly encourage applicants not to wait until the last week of the registration period to enter. Heavy demand may result in website delays. No entries will be accepted after noon, EDT, on November 3, 2012.
