Inaugural Address, Friday January 20, 1961

Volunteering is an integral part of the tapestry of life. If you love the Myanmar (Burmese) arts and culture, why not volunteer at the Network of Myanmar American Association? Here’s your chance to be a part of the landmark Myanmar art and cultural movement in America. We have volunteer opportunities for year-round volunteers, seasonal festival assistants, and internships.

It’s fun, it’s beautiful, and as a non-profit organization, we depend on our volunteers to perform a myriad of important responsibilities. Our volunteers receive not only the experience of a lifetime, but also ongoing education about , participation in special events, discounts on tickets, free tickets for family and friends (awarded for hours of completed service), and much more!

Being a NetMAA volunteer is a rewarding experience with many perks, including free access to some of our events, but best of all, you get to hang out with us! You’ll be helping make Myanmar (Burmese) community a more culturally aware community by working with other dedicated volunteers.
