2016 Asian Pacific Festival, October 22-23
The 2-day Festival unites the Asian Pacific communities, empowers them with a forum for expression, and promotes cultural diversity and awareness through arts, music and entertainment.
The Festival celebrates the rich Asian cultures, arts, and music – offering everyone a glimpse into these Asian countries and allowing the one-point-five and second generations of Asian Americans to visit their “home” countries. Festival-goers will enjoy a variety of activities: cultural exhibits, carnival rides, folk dances, fashion shows, music and entertainment, martial arts, food eating contests, family movie nights, and authentic food from different Asian countries such as Taiwan, China, Cambodia, Thailand, the Philippines, Japan, Korea, Laos, Vietnam, etc.
