Chinlone Magic Circle – short film
Chinlone is a traditional Burmese sport involving up to 6 players and a woven cane ball which the players try to keep in the air by using only their feet and knees. The Chinlone sport was first played in the courts of ancient Burmese Kings and dates back to the 7th Century AD.
Chinlone requires focus and coordination and stamina as well as synchronized cooperation between players. It promotes health as well as friendship and fun and brings people together in a non-competitive game.
