Thank you for your interest in submitting your film to the 2016 Myanmar Film Festival of Los Angeles. Submissions are now open.
The Myanmar Film Festival of Los Angeles promotes Myanmar arts and culture, bringing the growing Myanmar community together to celebrate culture and network with other Asian communities, filmmakers, and artists. The film festival provides a rare glimpse into country of Myanmar.
There is NO FEE to submit a film to the festival, and, as is standard practice, no payment to filmmakers to screen their films.
Submission Materials:
– A complete signed festival entry form (2016 Myanmar Film Festival of Los Angeles_Entry Form)
– Two (2) copies of DVDs (NTSC region1) for reviewing*
– One (1) DVD copy of movie trailer for marketing*
– One (1) set of Press Kit including:
• Synopsis
• Director’s bio/filmography
• Reviews (if possible)
*English subtitle must be provided (if not English)
